Just Because: Lauren & Kate

I've never seen two people who radiate more beauty. Inside and out. Lauren and Katelyn are two of my best friends in the whole world. They both have such amazing hearts for God and people, and I am so honored to have them in my life.

On Saturday we decided to go to lunch and then walk around downtown Tucson. We had SO much fun walking around, talking, laughing, and enjoying being with each other. The weather was amazing, and we found some pretty awesome places to capture their beauty.

Lauren has been my best friend since kindergarden, and we have been pretty much been attached at the hip since. We think and talk the same, and can pretty much read each other's minds without saying anything. She completes a lot of my heart, and makes me laugh more than anybody I've ever known.

I met Katelyn about three years ago through a Young Life camp that we were both working at. We instantly became great friends and I love being around her. We have gotten the chance to lead Young Life together the past three years together, and it is so awesome working beside Katelyn in ministry. She has a passion for serving the Lord and our high school girls that is extremely inspiring.

My little sister

Some people just make you laugh. Always. Last year I was lucky enough to meet some one enough who completed a little bit of my soul.  I met her through my sorority, and she became my little sis. She is now my roommate and I am lucky enough to see this pretty face every day. She has a heart for the Lord, and brings joy to pretty much every one she comes in contact with.

It's not her birthday or anything, but today, I'm celebrating her.

Bowling, beauty, and Jesus

This weekend I got the chance to have a sleepover with my Young Life girls. Young Life is an outreach ministry that I have been involved with for about 7 years now. These girls are all in high school, and each and every one of them blow my mind every day. They have such beautiful hearts, and are so much fun to be around.

We decided to get all dressed up and go bowling Friday night, then Saturday we took them to Mt. Lemmon to do some devotional time. The weather didn't permit us to travel all the way up the mountain, but we still had a great view. These girls teach me a new level of love and I am so lucky I get to watch them walk through life.

surprise.

Surprises. Some people love them, and some people hate them. Personally, I enjoy them. Even though I don't like not knowing what is happening, it's nice to be surprised. I am a big fan of random acts of kindness. Everybody likes feeling like they are loved, cared, and thought about. It takes something so simple to brighten a person's day. So next time you are thinking about it, go ahead...do it! Make somebody a card, bring somebody a treat, call somebody just because.

This Valentine's day was filled with many surprises. Tyler likes to keep things interesting, and try to keep me surprised. He planned out a perfect day, I am beyond blessed. But anyway... so when it was time for him to pick me up. He says to me, "I know you were expecting roses...so surprise!" and he brings out a huge orchid plant. It is beyond words. It's so beautiful and I absolutely love it. I've never been given a plant before, and I'll tell you something, it makes me smile every morning I wake up and see it.

hello again.

hello blogging world. I am back. After getting my tonsils removed three weeks ago, the doctor says I am on my way to healing! Who would have thought this process that 4-year-olds conquer so fast could have such a long recovery for somebody my age!

Regardless. I am back and ready to blog.

So who's ready to be photographed? For those of you who read my blog, lets set up a time to get your pretty face in front of the camera.

Even if the whole process of having surgery is not that enjoyable, I seem to be surround by the best people ever, which helps, A LOT. Between my friends, family, and boyfriend, I felt very loved. So thank you all, for your texts, messages, phone calls, and visits, they meant the world to me.

As William Shakespeare once said, "Friendship is constant in all things."
