Nevaeh Grace

Talk about love. Two friends of mine had a baby girl this January, and not only and I lucky enough to take pictures of this perfect baby girl, but I get to hold her, love her, and watch her grow. I promise you this is not the first you will see of Nevaeh Grace, but here's a few!

Graduation: Lauren

Lauren has been featured on my blog many times before. Perhaps it's because she's so dang beautiful, but perhaps it's also because she's my very best friend in the whole wide world. Lauren and I entered the "school world" together when we met in Kindergarten, and we are now exiting together, as we graduate together in just a few short weeks. Lauren is truly one of the greatest people I know. She has a heart big enough to love the world, pursues the Lord with her whole heart, and lives in a world of songs and lyrics. She is someone I know I can't imagine living without, and has made my college what it was. Lauren, I could not be more proud to call you best friend. I know you are going to change the world someday.

Graduation: Lindy

Lindy is another one of my sorority sisters. Lindy is from Kansas, and is such a sweetheart. Lindy and I share a common love for coffee, chocolate and music. She is beyond brilliant, and is graduating from U of A and off to dental school to pursue her passion to be a dentist. Lindy also has a secret passion for art and dance. She is an extremely talented artist, and this semester she took a dance class so she could start her career as a ballet dancer. ;) Lindy is a such a loving, passionate person, and I know will impact lives around her wherever she goes.

Mara & Cole

I met Mara through my sorority, Chi Omega. The first thing you learn about Mara is that she is full of love. She is so passionate about people and absolutely is crazy about true love. It is no surprise then, that Mara is madly in love with the man of her dreams. Mara and Cole have been dating for 6 years. They are each other first kiss, best friend, and confidants. They are both graduating in just a few weeks, and cannot wait to get life started together. Congrats Mara and Cole, I wish you both nothing but love in your future.

love & bicycles

I remember watching a home video of me when I was probably about 5, and it was me getting my first bicycle. It was pink and white and had training wheel on it. This is one of my favorite videos because I feel like it describes my sister and I so perfectly. The video shows the bike on our backyard, then enters my older sister and I, my dad is the one recording and he is saying " Look Sarah, it's your new bike!" Just then my sister starts leaping with excitement, screaming and jumping up and down, exclaiming how excited she is for my new bike. And then there's me, no facial expression, no yelling, no jumping. I simply walk up to the bike, sit on the seat, and start riding. Never once making any motion or sound on how excited I am.

Now, looking back I know in that moment I was beyond excited. Because the truth is I loved that bike. I am just not good at having proper emotions when receiving gifts. It's something I'm working on, because it's important for people to know how much their gift means to you. This past Valentine's Day I got a new bicycle, and let me tell you, my face and squeals and clapping did a pretty good job of explaining how excited I was.

This bike is extra special to me because my sweet sweet boyfriend, Tyler, built it. He spent hours ( and when I say hours I mean hours because this boy spends time researching what he's buying) researching the exact parts he wanted to buy. He picked out colors and little touches like a water bottle holder  that made who I was show in the bicycle. This bike took a lot of hard work, and a lot of time to complete, and every time I look at it I'm reminded how much I am loved.

Who knew that bicycles could say so much?

antiques

My mom always loved going antiquing. Something about old things and the charm the had really caught her eye. Recently, I've loved going thrift shopping and finding other peoples trash that become my treasure.  One of my best friends is getting married in June, yes, married, I know I can't believe it either. But in order to gain the look and feel of the wedding she's always dreamed of, we've begun a hunt for things we can use. This past week was out first outing, and because I didn't snap pictures of the actual things we've bought...we'll have to save those for another post :)

my escape

Being 4.5 hours from the beaches of Rocky Point, Mexico has been essential to my four years in school. My friends and I absolutely love taking trips on long weekends to what has become our favorite vacation spot.  When the tide goes out, the sand bar becomes our gathering place. There is something about the beach of Mexico, with the calm water, amazing sunsets, and serenity all around us.

Stephanie

She has a passion for the Lord, babies, and anything Audrey Hepburn. She has a beautiful smile and a huge heart for her friends and family. Stephanie is my older sister, best friend and my best model. Steph let me take some pictures of her a while back, and I never got a chance to share them. So now I am!
